Meet the Coach – Isaac Dana
My fitness journey began when I was a freshman in high school. Before that, I struggled with my weight—by eighth grade, I had reached nearly 270 pounds. I felt insecure, unsure of where to start, and overwhelmed by the idea of exercise and dieting. But change didn’t happen overnight—it started with small, consistent choices.
Instead of following a strict diet, I made simple swaps: sugary cereal became peanut butter toast and apple slices, processed dinners turned into meals with lean protein, healthy carbs, and vegetables. Without stepping foot in a gym, I lost 30 pounds just by making manageable, sustainable adjustments. Moderation, not restriction, was the key.
By my sophomore year, I knew I needed to take things further. I was still overweight and lacked confidence, but I saw firsthand how fitness had transformed my older brother. With encouragement from my grandfather, I finally walked into the gym. At first, it was intimidating—I didn’t know how to use the equipment or structure a proper routine. But instead of letting that hold me back, I took action. I hired a personal trainer, and that investment changed everything.
A year later, I had dropped to 190 pounds, built muscle, and gained more than just physical strength—I found confidence, mentors, and an incredible community of like-minded individuals. The gym became more than a place to work out; it became a second home where I grew not only in fitness but in character.
Through this journey, I learned that fitness is about more than aesthetics. It’s about setting challenges, embracing discomfort, and pushing yourself to grow every day. It’s about consistency, not perfection. And most importantly, I know exactly what it feels like to be on the other side—the self-doubt, the hesitation, the struggle to get started. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help others break through those barriers, build confidence, and become the best version of themselves.
Let’s take that first step together. Your strongest, most confident self is within reach.
